MMI is looking to hire a qualified ironworker foreman who has at least 5+ years of foreman and welding experience. The Ironworker foreman will supervise and coordinate the work crew, ensure compliance with company policies, jobsite policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations, and maintain a safe work environment. The foreman will have strong leadership to motivate others and communicate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and customers. Responsibilities
Read and understand blueprints and specifications Plan, coordinate and organize people, equipment, tools and materials to promote the safe, efficient and timely construction of the project Ensure timely completion of work assignments and project deadlines within estimated costs while upholding quality standards Instruct and train crew to operate equipment and tools to develop trade knowledge and skills Communicate professionally with the project team and customers Work with crew to complete daily inspection forms and prepare/deliver daily reports electronically Ensure necessary tools are available Work side by side with the crew on tasks Work overtime, nights, and weekends as required by workload Maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Can pass a background check Requirements
Minimum 5+ years of foreman and welding experience Ability to lead and supervise a crew, communicate with Project Managers, Superintendents and customers Must be physically able to perform job duties A Foreman Must Be Physically Able To
Lift and carry objects weighing more than 50 lbs. Stoop, kneel, crawl, lay, bend, squat, stand and walk for long periods Climb and balance on ladders, scaffolding or high structures (may exceed 100 ft) Work outdoors in all weather conditions Benefits
