Job Summary and Responsibilities
Installs, operates and maintains all heating, ventilating, refrigeration and air conditioning systems and maintains medical air compressors to provide a safe, functional and aesthetically pleasing environment for patients, staff and visitors. Other responsibilities include general maintenance (minor electrical and plumbing, equipment maintenance and safety testing), providing excellent customer service when working with patients, visitors and staff, working under minimal supervision, and mentoring and coaching staff in technical areas. High School Diploma/G.E.D. required Valid state driver's license, required Current Refrigeration Journeyman license, preferred Apprenticeship or technical degree in a facilities related field preferred Two years of experience in commercial HVAC installation, service and repair Hospital facilities or healthcare construction experience, preferred Strong communication skills; ability to read, write and speak English Basic computer skills Physical Requirements – Medium Work: exert/lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally, up to 20 lbs. frequently, and up to 10 lbs. constantly. Schedule: Mon‑Fri 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (schedule rotation, On‑Call) Where You'll Work
