Base pay starts at $32.00 - $38.00 per hour plus $1.50 shift differential

Night Shift
Duties and Responsibilities
Knows and understands all safety rules and precautions necessary for working with and around hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic and electrical apparatus
Ability to work on highly technical or involved projects, presenting new or constantly changing problems
Ability to deal with complex factors not easily evaluated and to make decision based on conclusions and findings
Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and relay logic. Chose corresponding components for replacement.
Safely handle and work with various voltages and power sources.
Familiarity with metal fabrication and light machine work.
Use various types of welding equipment, Mig, Arc, and flame cutting equipment.
Uses electricians hand tools and measuring and testing equipment
Performs visual and mechanical inspections required to keep machinery in good operating condition
Follows preventive maintenance program as established by the company and performs inspections of equipment and takes preventive action when necessary
Gives on the job direction to new maintenance mechanics and/or others assisting in maintenance work
Maintains continuous improvement efforts in work area
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrical Mechanical Technician in an industrial manufacturing facility or a two-year degree in automation or electrical.
Demonstrated commitment to electrical safety, strong troubleshooting skills, decision making skills, problem analysis and conflict management skills, particularly in pressure situations
Pneumatic Systems Experience
Mechanical Systems Experience
Medium Voltage troubleshooting and repair (480 VAC) (24VDC)
Knowledge of NFPA 70E, NEC and applicable OSHA standards
Transformers Maintenance and Testing
Three Phase Motors
DC Motors and Motor Controls
Servo Motors and Controls
Hydraulics Experience
Pneumatics Experience
Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's)
Variable Frequency Drives (VFD's) (AC/DC)
Analog Circuits (0-10VDC, 4-20mA)
Proficient in reading and understanding electrical diagrams and technical manuals
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist

This is a position with the potential overtime. The shifts are 8 hours, 10 hours, and 12 hours long depending on work orders for the day and season of the year.
