Overview
RQC, LLC is hiring commercial Pipefitters with brazing experience for ongoing self-perform work on Naval Station Norfolk. All work is performed on the military base and is paid at the Davis-Bacon prevailing wage for Naval Station Norfolk.
Compensation and Benefits Pay:
$48.20 - $50.00 per hour

Responsibilities
Assemble, install, and plan piping systems on active construction sites, ensuring work complies with relevant codes.
Apply pipefitting principles using appropriate equipment and safety practices.
Support project execution in alignment with RQC's mission, vision, and values.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
4+ years (or equivalent) field or trade experience as a journeyman-level pipefitter in a commercial or facilities operations setting; government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred.
Mechanical pipe installation experience.
Deep underground experience.
Start-up and energizing experience (boilers, chillers).
Valid pipefitter license or journeyman card is preferred.
Current welding certificate.
CPR, First Aid, and OSHA-10 preferred; training can be provided.
Preference given to candidates with brazing or HDPE experience.

All candidates must provide evidence of identity and U.S. work authorization at the time of hire.
All candidates must successfully pass a drug screening and a commercial background check, including a Department of Defense background check for access to the military base (as applicable).
