Part-Time 2026 Summer Camp Specialists, Bradford Woods. The Bradford Woods specialist positions have unique functions that work collaboratively with the other camp positions to create a well-rounded and supportive camp experience, ensuring that campers\' nutritional needs are met, memories are captured, and operational logistics run smoothly. These positions live in the cabins for the duration of the summer and assist with camper personal care, activities of daily living, and medical procedures. When not participating in position-related responsibilities, specialists will engage with campers in their assigned cabin group to ensure a positive and supportive experience. Bradford Woods offers a unique blend of adventure, learning, and personal growth with a long-standing history of providing recreational, educational, and leadership development opportunities to youth and adults. The organization is part of the Indiana University Office of Student Life and operates a residential summer camp in Martinsville, Indiana. Responsibilities

Nutrition Specialist Design and implement dietary accommodations and nutrition-focused programming for campers. Involves a significant food service component; may be used as an internship with approval from the Assistant Directors of Recreation Therapy and the student\'s college/university. Note: Bradford Woods does not have a Registered Dietitian on staff. Develop written recipes and meal plans; collaborate with Dining and Catering Services Manager to create healthy meal alternatives and contribute to new menu items. On check-in days, gather dietary needs from campers and families to guide kitchen production. Support camp programming through pack-out meals for events and food-related activities (e.g., Cupcake Wars). Track calorie counts and nutritional data for camp meals; assist with related tasks to enhance camper health and wellness. Engage with campers in the assigned cabin group to ensure a positive experience. Media Specialist Oversee all media needs, capture and share memories, photograph activities, and upload photos for families; create closing campfire slideshow. Collaborate with the Logistics Coordinator to create a camper photo roster by cabin for the nursing team on check-in day. Work with the Bradford Woods IT Manager to maintain and develop media systems; assist with evening programs as assigned. Operations Specialist Ensure transportation, supplies, and resources are available for campers and staff. Transport campers, staff, and supplies to and from program areas; deliver and maintain water coolers; perform supply runs as needed. Work with cabin staff to support campers\' daily activities and participation in camp life; engage with campers to support physical, social, and emotional well-being. Qualifications

Education

Required: High school diploma or equivalent (such as HSED or GED) Preferred: Some college Work Experience

Required: Experience in media and nutrition or related fields Preferred: Bradford Woods camp experience or similar medical camp, or experience in special education or nursing Licenses and Certificates

Required: CPR and First Aid Certifications by date of hire Skills

This is an active, hands-on role with physical mobility requirements (able to move objects up to 50 pounds). Some duties may involve overnight work due to the residential camp setting. Employees must be able to perform essential functions with or without accommodation. Live-on-site is a condition of employment. Location and Compensation

Bradford Woods, Martinsville, Indiana. This is an in-person position. Typical pay: $450.00 per week. Room and board provided in addition to salary. Flat weekly rate prorated for missed days. Benefits and Additional Information
