Maintenance Mechanic
— Current Openings: 2nd Shift (Monday–Friday, 4:30 PM – 1:00 AM) What You’ll Be Doing
Assist in the installation, maintenance, repair, and fabrication of DC equipment and facilities under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor. Recommend solutions for problems and, when needed, work independently on routine problems/minor repairs. Be on call for emergencies and manage multiple projects and daily activities to meet timelines. What’s In It for You?

Must be able to use hand and power tools and other equipment for building maintenance, electrical wiring, conveyor repairs, packaging equipment, and hydraulics. Operate power industrial trucks safely and efficiently Demonstrate carpentry skills for fabrication projects Recommend and implement improvements to equipment, operations, procedures, and safety Assist in skilling out and ordering parts; help maintain inventory of spares Conduct facilities testing per preventative maintenance schedule and report findings; perform repairs to keep systems operational Requirements
Experience in industrial maintenance with preventative maintenance on material handling systems Proficiency in three or more areas: electrical/electronics, welding/fabrication, plumbing, electro hydraulics, mechanical and electrical drive systems, PLCs Familiarity with OSHA/NFPA/NEC standards Understanding of MSDS sheets Ability to lift/move up to 75 pounds Ability to speak and write in English; good communications and writing skills Proficient in mechanics math (fractions and formulas) Ability to complete all company forms and paperwork Ability to work at heights or in unusual positions; able to read mechanical/electrical drawings, sketches, manuals, and specifications Operate shop tools and welding equipment; maintain housekeeping standards Maintain OSHA Power Equipment Certification; adhere to safe work practices Work Environment : Frequent exposure to lubricants, chemical vapors, aerosols, and other conditions requiring tolerance to noise, dust, heat, and weather Additional benefits may include associate discounts, EAP, smoking cessation support, bereavement leave, 401(k) contributions, credit union, cell phone discounts.
