Salary:
Hourly Range: $27.15 - $43.45 and benefit package per Collective Bargaining Agreement. Duties/Responsibilities/Physical Requirements
Dismantle and reassemble gasoline & diesel equipment using various hand tools and/or hoists Repair & replace major components, damaged and worn parts Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment Determine nature and extent of equipment failures Identify required repair parts & supplies Document maintenance and repair work performed Record parts and supply usage Agility to access and repair components on heavy equipment Agility to climb onto, into and out of equipment using ladder Agility to walk and work on uneven surfaces Ability to climb, kneel, stoop, bend, lift, push/pull and/or reach frequently Agility, bodily coordination & dexterity of hands and feet Ensure the quality and timely completion of work scheduled by the supervisor Ability to work productively in personal protective equipment throughout work shift in all weather conditions Perform safety sensitive tasks Perform all work in accordance with Brandenburg's environmental and safety policies Regular and Predictable Performance Education / Experience
Education / Experience:
Candidates must have a HS diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years' experience repairing heavy equipment Job Specific Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Responsible and safety minded Ability to trouble shoot & analyze equipment malfunction Knowledge of the use of testing equipment, tools and gauges Basic knowledge of electric, hydraulic and pneumatic systems Read & implement mobile equipment maintenance manuals Ability to pass a DOT Physical Commercial Drivers' License or the ability to obtain Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Successful candidates have good organization skills, communicate effectively & have the ability to handle varied tasks at once Post Location
