OVERVIEW: The Journeyman directs the tasks of Apprentices and potentially other Journeymen electricians, participating in commercial electrical construction and service work.
COMPENSATION:
$34.00 - $40.00 per hour
General Responsibilities
Work with a commitment to safety

Maintain professionalism and strong work ethics
Arrive on time daily with appropriate attire and tools
Keep work area clean
Install quality workmanship neatly and accurately
Respect tools and equipment
Work and climb ladders, lifts, and elevated platforms
Identify electrical parts and components
Perform strenuous physical tasks such as digging, kneeling, shoveling, lifting, pulling, pushing, and climbing
Stay current with evolving technology and electrical codes
Wear tools and safety equipment as required
Work in all weather conditions
Physical Requirements A functional physical exam must be completed and passed before starting work. Requirements include:
Driving, sitting, climbing
Lifting (up to 50 lbs from floor to chest, waist), carrying (up to 50 lbs)
Overhead lifting (up to 30 lbs each arm)
Standing, stooping, kneeling, walking
Vision acuity (near, far, color vision)
Trimming and final installation work
Pushing and pulling (up to 100 lbs)
Requirements
Four years of apprenticeship training or three years plus a two-year technical college degree in a related field
Journeyman Wireman’s license from Wyoming or reciprocating state
High energy and a sense of urgency preferred
