Electrical Designer – Full-time hourly position. Firm/Location – CR Engineers, Inc. / Fountain Hills, AZ. No relocation funds are available. Pay Supplemental: Bonus opportunities Job type Full-time Shift and schedule Monday to Friday Role Description Assist Electrical engineers in the design of contract drawings and technical specifications for construction projects, including electrical power (low voltage) system, interior and exterior lighting and production of photometric calculations, and building/equipment grounding designs for transportation, building, recreational/sports fields, aviation, and water/wastewater facilities. Job requirements will include client coordination, design field investigations, technical specification development, design of electrical construction, construction quantity cost estimates, and support through construction including product submittal reviews and response to Contractor request for clarifications. A valid driver’s license is required. Prefer current Arizona residents. No reimbursement for travel relating to any interview expenses and/or moving or relocation. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Experience – Minimum of 3 years of electrical design experience in creating drawings in AutoCAD and specifications related to power distribution and lighting construction projects. Must possess electrical design skills in lighting and power distribution systems. Critical thinking, ability to multi-task and possession of excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Specialized Knowledge Required - Must be knowledgeable in NFPA, NEC codes, and IES standards. Working knowledge of COMcheck and applicable energy codes. Programs – Proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook), AutoCAD 2016, Bluebeam Revu is required. Knowledge of lighting design software is a plus. Benefits
