Graduated from an accredited engineering school with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an HVAC emphasis 5+ years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, and building systems Registration as a Licensed Mechanical Professional Engineer is preferred but not required Experience with 3D modeling software, preferably Revit Proficiency with Microsoft Office Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate professionally with team members Effective communication skills, both oral and written Ability to manage time and workload efficiently, with attention to engineering detail Responsibilities
Design of building systems including plumbing, heating, cooling, ventilation, fire protection, building automation, and industrial process systems Collaborate with mechanical team members and multi-disciplinary teams including electrical, structural, architectural, and civil Work on diverse mechanical projects across various sectors such as government, healthcare, industrial, commercial, and education Produce construction drawings using Revit 3D modeling software Visit project sites for measuring, data collection, and construction observation Why Shive-Hattery?
