The Opportunity We are hiring
experienced Millwrights
to join our sawmill maintenance teams. You only need solid hands‑on skill in mechanical maintenance and repair, and a desire to live in one of our highly desirable locations in Oregon and Idaho. If you’ve never visited the Northwest, you will be awestruck by its beauty and year‑round outdoor recreation. Stimson will help with relocation and housing if you are relocating to the area.
What You’ll Do
Diagnose, repair, and maintain sawmill machinery, conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, and hydraulics
Perform welding and fabrication as needed to keep production running
Conduct alignments, installs, and preventative maintenance to maximize uptime
Collaborate with operators and other trades to ensure safe, efficient mill operations
Document work performed and support continuous improvement projects
What We’re Looking For
3+ years’ experience as a Millwright, Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, or similar role
Proficiency in hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and mechanical troubleshooting
Comfort working in an industrial environment and willingness to work OT as needed
Safety‑first mindset and teamwork orientation
Compensation & Benefits
US $40–$50/hr in Tillamook, OR (DOE); competitive ranges at other locations (openings also exist in Forest Grove, Oregon, and St. Maries, Idaho)
Overtime opportunities
Relocation assistance + 30–60 days temporary trailer housing
