Industrial Electrician

Position: Electrician Location: Horsham, Pennsylvania Wage: Starting at $32.03 - $37.30 Shift: Nights (12-hour shift) Schedule: 3/4/4/3 Sign-on Bonus: $1500 Sonoco, a global leader in packaging solutions since 1899, is seeking an Electrician to join our team in Horsham, PA. Responsibilities include: Installing electrical components in equipment such as gas mixers, burners, de-ionized water units, air compressors, and lighting systems. Troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment, circuit boards, and complex devices. Performing preventative maintenance on electrical systems. Identifying and resolving electrical inefficiencies and issues. Programming and troubleshooting PLC logic controls. Assisting in designing and installing new equipment and procedures. Maintaining effective working relationships and adhering to safety standards. Communicating effectively and following detailed instructions. Working overtime as needed. Qualifications: Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in electronics or related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience. Experience with PLC programming & troubleshooting, HMI, and industrial networking. Knowledge of electrical systems, circuitry, motors, wiring diagrams, and specific equipment like Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs. Understanding of safety practices, hazardous materials handling, confined spaces, and NEC standards. Ability to troubleshoot using electrical test equipment and logic.
