Mercedes-Benz of Alexandria is seeking a motivated Service Technician.

Responsibilities
Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service or repairs are needed. Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications Will work under the guidance of a group leader with work ranging from express maintenance to difficult diagnostic work from day one
Qualifications
Willing to learn and develop skills through hands-on and computer lead training Strong teamwork skills Strong automotive background a plus Willing to submit a drug screen & background check Must have a clean & valid driver's license Authorized to work in the United States
