Job Description The Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of equipment used in automated assembly of electronic PCBA's. The operator will ensure efficient and accurate automated electronic assembly according to engineering specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operate PCBA equipment including AOI inspection, Selective Soldering, PCB De-fluxing, Asymtek Fluid Dispense, PCB Singulation, and Reflow Ovens.
Load programs, set up machines, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal machine performance.
Monitor production processes, inspect finished products, and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
Basic troubleshoot of equipment and process issues to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
Follow assembly instructions and engineering drawings to ensure accurate process completion.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Collaborate with engineers and other team members to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards at all times.
Experience / Education
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in electronics or related field preferred but not a requirement.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in electronics manufacturing, automated assembly, or a similar production environment.
Requirements / Qualifications
Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
Strong attention to detail and quality with the ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and process issues.
Good communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Basic computer skills for data entry and machine operation.
Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed to meet production deadlines.
Ability to work on 1st shift (7am-3:30pm)
