Job Summary As a Civil Engineering Associate, you will work with a wide range of clients and markets to plan, design, and manage projects in commercial, industrial, municipal, water, wastewater, and infrastructure. You will collaborate with experienced engineers and support project lifecycles from inception to completion.
Location Belleville, IL or St. Louis, MO
Job Activities
Site/layout design for a wide range of markets and project types
Stormwater management and collection system layout and design
Collaborate with other Farnsworth Group disciplines
Organize and perform projects from inception to completion
Construction observation / resident engineering
Environmental assessments and sampling
Permit review / compliance
Communication with clients and attendance at council and/or board meetings
Qualifications
BS in Civil Engineering
0–2 years of engineering experience
Strong written and oral communication skills
Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D (a plus)
Proficiency or willingness to learn modeling (WaterCAD, SewerCAD, InfoWorks)
Compensation and Benefits Salary Range: $66,000 – $80,000
401(k) with 100% Company Match up to 5%
