Trueline’s client, a seven-time “Best Places to Work” structural steel fabricator and erector based in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a dedicated
Project Manager (Structural Steel)
to join their on-site team. This role offers the chance to lead full-cycle structural steel projects, ensuring they’re delivered on time, on budget, and with outstanding quality in a collaborative, family-minded environment. What You'll Do as the Project Manager (Structural Steel): Analyze bid documents to develop scope, schedules, material needs, and budget estimates. Coordinate drawing submittals, detailing, fabrication, scheduling, and erection phases. Manage projects from award through closeout—tracking change orders, deliveries, and gross margins. Communicate regularly with customers, subcontractors, detailing partners, and internal teams. Enforce safety standards and maintain clean, organized jobsite and shop environments. Lead kickoff and phase meetings (“Iron?Strong Expectations”) with all stakeholders. Must?Haves as the Project Manager (Structural Steel): Valid Arizona driver’s license and ability to pass background and drug screenings. 3–5 years’ experience managing structural or construction projects. Strong detail orientation, organization, communication, and multi-tasking skills. Proven ability to meet deadlines and lead under pressure with a positive, team-first attitude. Reliability, professionalism, and a “never back down” mindset for consistently driving projects to success. Nice?to?Haves as the Project Manager (Structural Steel): Familiarity with change-order workflows, subcontractor coordination, and erection processes. Financial savvy in maximizing gross margin and profit sharing. Comfort delivering in a fast-paced, adaptive environment where challenges are part of the day.
