Hexcel is currently seeking a
CNC Operator
for our
Burlington, WA
location. Primary recruitment is for 2nd and 3rd shift. No previous CNC experience required—training provided! Hexcel Burlington is a great culture, provides a safe working environment and has a committed workforce. Future increases are based on skills acquired and longevity in the position. Full time benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, paid holidays and paid time off.
Summary pay range: $23.15 - $33.36 hourly wage rate.
Responsibilities
Operation of industrial equipment, primarily 5-axis milling machines. Additionally, band saws, industrial ovens, and other equipment.
Prepare and load tools and parts onto the machines.
Follow process and work instructions. Inspect product to ensure quality requirements are met.
All positions work in a team environment to produce high quality composite parts in a timely manner.
Positions are expected to work both independently and with a high degree of detail and accuracy.
Qualifications
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Applicants must present proof of US Person status prior to hire.
Applicants must show a stable work history, preferably in manufacturing and ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment. A minimum of six months hand and power tool experience is preferred. Employees are required to be able to work all shifts and have a willingness to work overtime as needed.
A post-offer drug test is required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; have manual dexterity; and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to walk, talk or hear. The employee must be able to physically lift and carry up to 50 lbs., and push/pull 40 lbs. sustained and 65 lbs. initial force for hands‑on tasks. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Must have ability to operate power tools and machines with moving parts.
