Project assignments vary widely and can include deep study into fundamental understanding of glass, ceramic or molding processes, qualification of new equipment, augmenting manufacturing operations, identifying process improvements, finding ways to increase throughput and capacity or identifying needed technology to impact capability. In addition to manufacturing know-how, you will have an opportunity to use project management skills to manage timelines, costs and deliverables. MTE process engineering has a unique role in that you will be assigned to various projects across the entire corporation depending on the priority or urgency of any project.
