About This Role
As a Residential Electrical Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our residential electrical services in Laredo, TX and surrounding areas. Your responsibilities include leading a team of electricians, coordinating projects, ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction, providing technical guidance, managing resources, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of residential electricians, ensuring high performance and productivity.
Plan, organize, and oversee residential electrical projects from start to finish, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management.
Ensure all electrical work meets quality standards, codes, and regulations, conducting inspections and providing feedback to team members.
Serve as the main point of contact for residential clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
Provide technical guidance and assistance to electricians, troubleshooting complex problems and ensuring proper installation and operation of electrical systems and equipment.
Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment, conduct regular safety meetings, and ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
Manage inventory of materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring adequate supplies for projects and maintaining accurate usage and expense records.
Identify training needs and facilitate training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge in residential electrical services.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains, implementing best practices and initiatives to optimize performance.
Maintain accurate records of project documentation, including work orders, invoices, and permits, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a residential electrician in a supervisory or leadership role.
Valid electrician license and certification (where applicable).
Strong technical knowledge of residential electrical systems, codes, and standards.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Commitment to safety and quality standards.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Salary USD $50,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year.
