Lique Group, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and licensed Structural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis, and review of structural systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects. The licensed Structural Engineer will ensure all designs meet safety, regulatory, and quality standards while collaborating with architects, contractors, and other engineering professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Design and analyze structural systems, including foundations, beams, columns, and other structural elements, for a variety of projects.
Review project plans, specifications, and design documents for accuracy, compliance, and feasibility.
Perform structural calculations and prepare detailed engineering reports.
Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, contractors, and project managers to ensure structural integrity and constructability.
Conduct site inspections to verify construction aligns with design specifications and safety codes.
Prepare and review construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building codes, as well as industry standards.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and technical staff.
Stay current with developments in structural engineering, materials, methods, and codes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Structural Engineering required.
Minimum 5-7 years of structural engineering experience in commercial and/or residential projects.
Proficient in structural analysis and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, SAP2000, RISA).
Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations (IBC, AISC, ACI, ASCE).
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
Experience with construction administration and site management.
Familiarity with sustainable design practices and LEED certification processes.
Strong leadership and project management experience.
Working Conditions
Office environment with regular site visits.
Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
Occasional extended hours to meet project deadlines.
