CNC Machinist
on
2nd Shift . Candidates should have prior experience operating Swiss-style multi-spindle CNC machines or other similar CNC equipment. Start time is 2:30 PM and the shift ends at 12:00 AM, Monday - Friday. Overtime

Operate assigned machine(s) to manufacture parts to required specifications. Use sample parts, blueprints, and schematics to determine the method and order of operations. Protect machines and machined product by following processes and procedures such as part loading, machine control, and safe transportation of product over short distances. Maintain product quality by monitoring and adjusting machine offsets as needed. Perform and record in-process inspection actions such as measuring and validating part features for dimensional tolerances and specifications. Perform first article and buyoff. Perform setup operations including setting up fixtures and cutting tools. Perform inspection tasks of intermediate complexity using drawings and more advanced inspection tools. Meet production demands as assigned. Run production on multiple machines at once (Primary & Secondary). Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction. Complete other duties as assigned. Required Skills
Experience operating Swiss-style CNC equipment or other similar devices used for machining metal parts. Working knowledge of shop math including tool geometry and basic geometry. Ability to read basic prints and apply dimensional specifications to inspection processes. Required Experience
Typically, at least one year of machining experience prior to hire. Level of Education
