Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSenior Panel Wiring & Controls Lead TechnicianWhy Axis Automation We design, build, integrate, and support factory automation for forward‑thinking manufacturers. Our engineers and builders have delivered hundreds of systems across thousands of configurations—and we’re growing.
Your Impact (Bullet-Point Focus)
Lead electrical assembly teams across multiple automation projects.
Track build progress; drive on‑time delivery and elevate risks early.
Serve as primary point of contact for electrical build status and open issues.
Onboard and mentor new team members in standards and best practices.
Fabricate and wire custom control panels and machine wiring per drawings/spec.
Read and apply electrical schematics and customer‑provided documentation.
Troubleshoot electrical problems quickly, safely, and permanently.
Document changes; communicate updates throughout the build.
Collaborate cross‑functionally from design review through installation & support.
Support on‑site installs; provide field assistance when required.
Model and promote Axis’s ten Operating Principles in daily work.
What You Bring
4+ years’ hands‑on experience wiring custom automated machinery.
Proven leadership coordinating people, priorities, and resources.
Strong diagnostic skills and methodical problem‑solving approach.
Safety‑first mindset and meticulous attention to detail.
Comfortable with complex mechanical systems and schematic interpretation.
Computer literacy: Excel, Word, OneNote.
Excellent communication and self‑direction.
Willing to travel up to 20% (local//international).
