Junior Estimator
to join our growing Preconstruction team. What You'll Do
As a
Junior Estimator , you'll support the estimating team by helping prepare accurate, detailed cost estimates for electrical construction projects. You’ll: Review blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand project scope Assist in calculating labor, materials, and equipment costs Contact vendors and subcontractors for pricing and bids Help prepare and organize bid proposals and supporting documents Maintain estimate files, schedules, and spreadsheets Participate in site visits to better understand project details Collaborate closely with senior estimators and other preconstruction team members
Requirements
Required High school diploma or equivalent Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general computer applications Excellent communication skills—verbal and written Eagerness to learn and grow in the construction/estimating field Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Preferred
Associate's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field Up to 2 years of experience in construction, estimating, or electrical contracting Familiarity with electrical drawings, take-offs, or estimating software (Accubid, Bluebeam, Procore, etc.) Strong math and analytical skills

Work Environment
This position is primarily office-based with occasional travel to local jobsites (up to 30%). Some lifting (up to 20 lbs) and extended computer work may be required. PPE is provided when visiting job sites.
