Apartment Maintenance Techs are responsible for quickly and efficiently completing service requests. This includes appliance repair, drywall, painting, electrical repairs, plumbing repairs, and more. The staff at The Liberty Group offers career coaching, resume coaching, growth opportunities, and a personal advocate. The Liberty Group is immediately hiring for experienced Apartment Community Maintenance Tech for multiple locations in the greater Beaverton area. Maintenance responsibilities include performing general maintenance tasks including work orders and unit turns, maintaining the grounds, curb appeal, clubhouse, amenities, and other common areas. Preserve the asset and provide a quality living environment. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Performs maintenance projects and tasks with minimal supervision consistent with Company policy and direction from the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Community Manager. Assist in maintaining the community grounds and common areas, including community trash areas, pet waste stations, pool, gym and parking lots. Repair and enhance the community by assisting with repairing and maintaining plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry, and painting needs of the community. Details turnover units. Maintain the highest level of customer service for prospects, vendors, and corporate departments. Assist with administration of maintenance functions, e.g., tracking of inventory, data entry of work orders, maintaining updated records related to Mold and Mildew Log, Pool Log, etc. Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent, college and/or trade school. Relevant certification (e.g., HVAC, CPO) strongly preferred. One to two years of industry or maintenance related experience. Proficient knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair with hands-on experience. Knowledge of environmental/industrial hazards (i.e., asbestos, lead, mold, radon) as they apply to residential housing. Proven organizational and time management skills. Valid driver license and automobile insurance. Ability to read and write English; speak English and understand spoken English. Must be able to complete scheduled routine tasks quickly and efficiently, without supervision.
