Note: Adjunct positions at UCO are part-time teaching positions. This posting is to create a pool of interested applicants from which the Department may draw as sections become open at any point in the current academic year. This posting may or may not result in the hiring of adjuncts. Adjunct Faculty provides a quality learning experience for students on a semester basis. Adjunct faculty reports to a dean or chair and performs instruction-related duties in accordance with the college’s policies and procedures. The role involves teaching undergraduate courses in Engineering, Physics, Physical Science (including lecture and laboratory sections), Earth Science, and Descriptive Astronomy.
Qualifications:
Possesses at least a master's degree in the specified field. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills are required. A doctorate and higher-education teaching experience are preferred.
Physical Demands:
Repetitive hand movements, standing, sitting, occasional walking, reaching, and visual assessments. Regular physical attendance is required. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
