Job Description:
LVN - Vocational Nurse - (Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm) CPMO Support (Galveston) (2501103) Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from a Licensed Vocational Nurse program and licensure/permit as a vocational nurse in the state of Texas. No experience required. Current BLS required. Job Summary: To provide direct nursing care to an assigned group of patients and perform nursing procedures within the scope of their education and demonstrated abilities. Job Duties: Provides administrative oversight to assigned medical charts. Reviews medical records to ensure compliance with programmatic requirements. Collaborates with CPMO Physical Qualification team and Leadership to ensure operational standards are met. Uses the nursing plan in daily assignments, able to review, and, under supervision, modify the plan of care. Demonstrates ability to utilize critical thinking to identify necessary participant documentation needed to meet program standards. Maintains program participant’s privacy and confidentiality of information and records at all times. Executes Medical Director’s orders regarding program participants. Collaborates with On-Ice providers to ensure proper medical treatment of program participants. Collaborates with Consults team to ensure patients receive proper treatment and diagnoses. Utilizes ad-hoc reporting to track program operations. Documents nursing care in all assigned patient records. Adheres to internal controls established for the department. Performs related duties as required. Salary Range:
Actual salary commensurate with experience. Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm and as needed on occasion.
