We are seeking an experienced Project Manager - Transportation with a background in the design and management of Transportation projects. The Project Manager should have 8+ years of experience in Transportation (Roadway) design and demonstrated effectiveness in planning and managing projects, maintaining budgets and schedules, and building and maintaining positive client relations. Applicants must be motivated with a desire for personal growth and advancement, as well as firm growth, and work well in a collaborative team atmosphere.
Responsibilities
Supervise and direct the preparation of design and construction bid documents for Transportation (roadway) projects involving multi-modal accommodations (Complete Streets) including corridor, intersection, and downtown improvements
Effectively present at meetings with clients and the public
Maintain project financials/budgets, schedules, and project advancement
Manage/mentor staff and provide guidance, manage workloads, and provide issue resolution
Prepare project scopes and budgets for proposals and contracts
Maintain communication with clients including municipalities and regional agencies
Requirements
Education: B.S. Degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering
Software: AutoCAD/Civil 3D
Experience: 8+ years in the Transportation Engineering (Roadway) field including design and project management
Possess a broad understanding of transportation design and planning standards, specifically standards and submission processes for state agencies (MassDOT), RiDOT, NhDOT.
Registrations: Professional Engineer (PE) registration or ability to obtain (preferred)
Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated ability to work well in a collaborative team environment. Effective at managing and mentoring staff, providing training if required, and communicating with clients, the public, staff, sub-consultants, and contractors. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation Annual Expected Pay Range: $120,000 - $150,000 USD
