Regional Operations Manager - Central Region (TX)
THE POSITION IN A NUTSHELL
Sciens Building Solutions is seeking a Regional Operations Manager, Central Region (TX) who is a positive change agent and can drive high customer satisfaction while inspiring Divisional teams, including engineering, project execution and service departments. This opportunity is ideal for someone who has experience managing operations across multiple locations in the fire alarm and security industries and is ready to assume ownership of a regional operations role while being part of a vibrant national organization. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (and doing well!) You’ll be responsible for ensuring all associates embrace the Sciens safety culture and comply with all safety initiatives. Oversee the operations, engineering, project management, and service departments for the assigned Divisions. Ensure that Division associates including designers, project managers, technicians, project coordinators, supervisors and dispatchers receive the correct level of training to successfully perform in their roles. Responsible for oversight of budget and meeting revenue and gross margin targets for assigned divisions. Assist divisions in communicating with customers, vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to execute plans, programs and processes designed to meet or exceed market potential. Responsible for delivering projects within the original budgeted cost. Responsible for executing monthly project cost and work in progress (WIP) analysis. Reports the information in an effective manner to senior executive team, and takes corrective action as needed. Responsible for driving a high-performance culture at the Division level. Responsible for assisting with manpower planning and allocation for assigned Divisions. WHAT WE LIKE ABOUT YOU You have 5-10 years’ experience in an operations manager role within the fire alarm, fire protection and security industry, or a combination. Ability to travel 3 out of 4 weeks a month to our central divisions. You possess the ability to effectively communicate to a diverse group of individuals, including company leadership, regional staff, customers, and vendors. You are a strong, positive team builder with leadership ability. You have knowledge of current fire alarm, fire protection, and security systems.
