What we are looking for
Good communication skills. The position is part of a multifunctional department in DEUTZ AG/ HQ. Departments: Demand Planning - Purchasing - Service Engineering. The position shall be able to contact regularly with suppliers and external stakeholders. Start supply chain disruptions and stops of production communication within DEUTZ. Anticipate supply chain problems and propose solutions. (ACT). Problem solving mind. Processing of backlogs (customers and suppliers) and delivery date requests (customers and suppliers) (REACT). Determination of optimal order quantities. Prioritize in an efficient manner material deliveries. Master Data Management (SAP) and update. Warehouse optimization and material flow control. Transport control and general logistics understanding. Onboarding process of new suppliers. Request and manage supplier quotations for existing supplier pools. Preparation of supplier contracts and schedule agreements. Control and track supplier contract status in terms of validity, pricing, up-to-date of legal framework and conformity with current Purchasing targets. Check released purchase requisitions. Supporting the analysis of supplier cost structures according to specifications/with standard templates in cooperation with other departments. Initiate international benchmarks in coordination with Service Procurement Organization. Create sample, initial and single purchase orders or schedule agreements from business requisitions, ensuring delivery from our suppliers. Other Projects as necessary Contribute to the continuous improvement of process automation & standardization together with our colleagues in Germany. Ensure compliance awareness and requirements in the Spare Parts Procurement processes Ensure compliant and efficient documentation of all DGSC Procurement transactions Bachelor’s degree (preferred) (optional: high professional training + languages + international experience) Business administration, economics, supply chain, international trade, technical training or equivalent professional qualification Used to work with ERP system environments (SAP desirable) What we offer
