Role Overview Virtera Partners is searching for an exceptionally polished and entrepreneurial Business Development Associate. The right person is not only highly charismatic and well-spoken but also highly organized, intellectually sharp, and excited to help build something enduring.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and qualify prospective investors and facilitate introductions within the family office, UHNW, advisor, and institutional communities.
Personally meet with prospects to communicate the firm’s value and present investment offerings.
Plan and support selective events and investor touchpoints.
Identify and structure strategic partnership opportunities.
Design and oversee a structured investor outreach program leveraging email, phone, LinkedIn, and in-person events.
Build and maintain an active CRM pipeline.
Draft and refine high-quality presentations, tear sheets, and other marketing materials.
Provide consistent, thoughtful communication tailored to new and existing contacts.
Required Skills & Attributes
Exceptional charisma and interpersonal skills; talented at presenting and networking with sophisticated investors.
Naturally likable, magnetic presence: people quickly trust and enjoy interacting with you.
Highly organized and proactive: anticipates needs before being asked - nothing slips through the cracks.
Outstanding communicator both in verbal and written communications.
Ambitious, hungry, and internally driven; energized by building, not just maintaining.
Professional polish appropriate for UHNW investors, with humility and warmth.
3+ years’ experience preferred in private wealth, investment fundraising, investor relations, or adjacent relationship-centric environments, but mindset, maturity, and presence outweigh pedigree.
Compensation This position is salaried with benefits and a meaningful discretionary bonus. Based in Pepper Pike, Ohio, with flexibility for hybrid work. Travel is required for investor meetings and select industry events.
