Continuous Improvement Manager (Automotive) – Medina, OH Responsibilities
Lead multiple process improvement projects focused on defect reduction, cost avoidance, loss reduction, and revenue enhancement Serve as the in-house expert on Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies, coaching process owners and leaders Partner with leadership to identify and prioritize opportunities for improvement, aligning initiatives with strategic objectives Oversee cost-saving and process-improvement projects across manufacturing, leveraging Lean and Six Sigma tools Work closely with the General Manager and VP of Operational Excellence to guide project selection and implementation plans Support plant-wide Lean transformation through footprint studies and 100-day kaizen initiatives Supervise and mentor plant Lean/Six Sigma support staff, developing talent across the organization Recommend and facilitate quality and change management processes to meet customer satisfaction and financial performance goals What We’re Looking For
A results-driven leader with a strong background in automotive manufacturing and a proven ability to deliver measurable improvements. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise in Lean Six Sigma with strong business acumen, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to influence at all levels of the organization. Qualifications
Automotive supplier experience Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field 7+ years of progressive experience with Lean Six Sigma in manufacturing Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification preferred Strong project management, leadership, and team facilitation skills Proven ability to drive measurable cost savings, process improvements, and operational excellence
