Description Program Manager
STAHL Companies provides the Program Management for its Channel of Commercial Technology companies in Government that consist of Small Businesses and New Technology start-ups.
STAHL advocates for policies that can improve government services and maintain our government's competitive advantage, by bringing more technology into government programs.
STAHL Companies advocates on behalf of our nation's innovative, new technology and small businesses looking to work with the U.S. government. We do this by aligning the voice of our small business members with advocacy for change in federal policy that will make the government market more accessible to small businesses and the commercial technology ecosystem.
The Channel's founding Technical Board Members include former government leaders and IT executives passionate about bringing best‑of‑breed technology to the government.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Program Manager to join our team!
Responsibilities
Serve as the contractor’s designated Point of Contact (POC) for all aspects of program and contract management.
Lead the planning, organization, scheduling, implementation, and control of all program activities to ensure successful contract performance.
Monitor contract performance and analyze results, identifying areas of improvement and ensuring compliance with all contract requirements.
Prepare and deliver comprehensive status reports and presentations on program progress, issues, and resolutions to PM TRASYS, the Contracting Officer, and the COR.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to address and resolve contract-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
Assess evolving requirements and lead the implementation of authorized changes as directed by the Contracting Officer.
Ensure timely identification, documentation, and communication of risks and mitigation plans.
Maintain a proactive approach to stakeholder communication and program execution to drive contract success.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.
Recent, relevant experience managing efforts of similar scope and complexity , particularly in a government or defense contracting environment.
Demonstrated familiarity with U.S. military training exercises , including logistics, coordination, and execution support.
Proven ability to manage programs with multiple stakeholders and deliver results in high‑visibility, deadline‑driven settings.
Excellent leadership, organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Strong understanding of DoD contract performance and change management processes.
Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of collaboration with both contractor teams and government personnel.
