Job Summary:
In the role of Order Entry & Customer Service Specialist, you will assume responsibility for processing orders and actively participating in cross‑functional teamwork with departments including Engineering, Production Control/Manufacturing, and Accounting. Success in this role hinges on your robust organizational and communication abilities, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Who Should Apply
Has proven experience in order entry—comfortable handling large volumes of data accurately and quickly.
Is detail‑oriented and organized—accuracy is critical when entering technical and numerical information.
Enjoys working with numbers and technical details—basic math and measurement conversions are part of the job.
Communicates clearly and professionally—you’ll interact with customers and internal teams.
Learns systems quickly—adaptable to our products and processes.
Key Responsibilities
Process customer orders accurately and promptly—this is the core of the job.
Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues.
Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Accounting teams.
Prepare quotes for standard products and handle special product entries.
Assist with general office tasks as needed.
Compensation
$20–25/hour, depending on experience.
Overtime pay after 40 hours.
Estimated annual income based on standard hours and typical overtime: $41,600.00–$55,900.00.
Requirements (Must‑Haves)
2+ years of order entry experience (customer service background preferred).
Strong computer and data entry skills.
Detail‑oriented, team player with effective communication skills.
High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualities (Nice‑to‑Haves)
Prior experience in an order entry role within a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with tool and die manufacturing.
