About the team
The Stripe Issuing team enables users to build and launch successful card programs and financial features into their product using powerful programmatic APIs. The team creates the infrastructure, user facing experiences, and partner integrations needed to manage the lifecycle of a card and enable efficient money movement. What youll do
As the Product Lead for Stripe Issuing, you will lead our product development efforts for building the best-in-class card issuance systems, including designing user-facing APIs and interfaces and working directly with top global users in building and growing their card programs around the world. This is a highly complex and challenging role that will require you to deeply understand user needs and collaborate across internal and partner teams to build and launch a seamless product experience at scale. Were looking for a strong Product Lead that can run Stripe Issuing like a standalone business, with expertise in partnering with go-to-market teams and engineering teams to scale our Issuing business. This Product Lead will spend significant time with users to deeply understand their needs and experiences, Stripe leadership and go-to-market teams to discuss Issuing strategy and roadmap, and cross-functional internal stakeholders to build compliant and scalable products. On a day to day basis you would spend your time split between external meetings with customers and internal discussions with your engineering, marketing, analytics, and sales counterparts; as well as with your direct reports, coaching, mentoring, and hiring. This role will provide the opportunity to grow one of Stripes most strategic products and get feedback on your plans directly from Stripes leadership team. Responsibilities
Define and drive the product roadmap for our core Connect product
Devise strategy, steer product requirements, and oversee execution for some of the highest impact initiatives that serve modern marketplaces & software platforms
Work cross functionally with engineering, design, analytics, and other global teams to define, build, and deploy products that delight our users
Build and coach your team on best practices in defining product requirements and how to deliver against those requirements and the overall roadmap
Who you are

Experience leading cross-team initiatives from ideation to execution
Technical expertise: Youve led technical products and/or have a background in computer science (or similar)
Experience building both new products (0->1) as well as a track record of shipping continuous product improvements to an existing product portfolio
Experience building platform and/or API products
Deep user empathy and a high bar for user experience
Persistence and a whatever-it-takes approach to ensure that your product is successful
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred qualifications
Experience working on a platform and/or marketplace product
Experience working on a paytech/fintech product
This role is available either in an office or a remote location (35+ miles or 56+ km from a Stripe office). Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams. A remote location is defined as being 35 miles (56 kilometers) or more from one of our offices. While you would be welcome to come into the office for team/business meetings, on-sites, meet-ups, and events, our expectation is you would regularly work from home rather than a Stripe office. The annual US base salary range for this role is $268,000 - $402,000. For sales roles, the range provided is the roles On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidates experience, qualifications, and location.
