Joining our dynamic Exxelia Magnetics team in Longwood, FL, you will be absolutely crucial for ensuring our manufacturing operations run smoothly, efficiently, and meet demanding customer requirements for our custom magnetic components. This role involves directly coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials across departments, owning the production schedule, and utilizing your expertise with ERP/MRP systems to optimize workflow, minimize delays, and support an innovative company dedicated to quality and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop & Maintain Schedules: Create and maintain detailed production schedules based on customer orders, sales forecasts, and material/capacity availability.
Workflow Coordination: Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
ERP System Management: Utilize the company\'s ERP system (e.g., Sage X3) to manage work orders, track production progress, and maintain accurate data regarding inventory, backlogs, and lead times.
Monitor & Report: Continuously monitor production progress against the schedule, identify potential risks or delays, and provide timely updates and reports to management and relevant departments.
Problem Solving: Act as a key liaison between planning and production to address and resolve any production issues, material shortages, or scheduling conflicts.
Process Improvement: Collaborate with the production team to identify opportunities for improving efficiency, reducing waste, and optimizing workflow.
Qualifications:
Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience as a Production Planner, Scheduler, or a similar role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the electronics or aerospace/defense industry.
Technical Skills: High proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (Sage experience is a strong plus) and the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Analytical Abilities: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments.
