Location: Warner Robins, GA. On-site work required. This position supports our Defense Systems Sector.
This role is in the Material Operations Team and is responsible for defining material requirements, analyzing program data to prepare material spend plans, and collaborating with other functional areas to ensure program success. The analyst will analyze manufacturing, enterprise resource planning, and other material requirements based on assembly demands, component replenishments, substitute parts, production repair setups, engineering changes, and enterprise supplies. The position will involve high visibility work, data analysis, and preparing presentations for senior management.
Develop and analyze material requirements from engineering specifications and production schedules.
Analyze system data to prepare material requirements, including demand, spend plans, and monthly/quarterly financial material forecasts.
Identify material shortage requirements and develop solutions to complex problems.
Resolve schedule, material requirements, or business system issues with cross-functional teams and master schedules; negotiate lead times.
Approve part or material requisitions and initiate production and purchase change orders; ensure availability of all materials required to support program repairs.
Ensure timely and accurate material data collection to support ongoing repair activity forecasting.
This position may be filled at Level 2 or Level 3 (Principal).
Basic Qualifications
Level 2: Experience in a production, repair, and/or depot environment; High School diploma/GED and 7 years of direct relevant experience in supply chain, material management, or supplier management. A bachelor's degree with 3 years of related experience, or a master's degree with 1 year, may be considered.
Level 3 (Principal): High School diploma/GED and 9 years of direct relevant experience in supply chain, material management, or supplier management. A bachelor's degree with 5 years of related experience, or a master's degree with 3 years, may be considered.
Proficiency in MS Office Excel and in collecting and analyzing data to create complex material requirements reports, material spend reports, and program material health charts.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Must have or be able to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) secret security clearance.
Must be able to work on-site in Warner Robins, Georgia.
Preferred Qualifications
Active Secret Clearance
Bachelor's Degree in related field
5+ years of experience in material analysis and/or planning in a depot or production environment
MRO/PDM database and/or Electronic System SAP material transaction experience preferred
Experience with material planning in an MRP environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Access
Salary ranges: Primary Level $58,000.00 - $87,000.00; Secondary Level $71,600.00 - $107,400.00. Overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses may be offered depending on position and market conditions.
