Associate or Experienced

Supply Chain Management Analyst

to join our dynamic team in

Kennedy Space Center, Florida .

Position Responsibilities – Associate Level 2

Applies change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions

Applies Supply chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the supply chain

Coordinates with company customer support representatives, contract administration, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, traffic, warehousing, suppliers and customers

Incorporates Bills of Material (BOM) and schedules into a production plan

Coordinates part number attributes

Verifies the released engineering BOM has been correctly implemented in the material planning system

Releases and maintains orders

Documents and resolves order delinquencies

Reports schedule adherence issues

Applies developed solutions to inventory plans

Analyzes and dispositions excess and obsolete inventories

Creates schedules for products and services

Coordinates and supports process improvements

Works under general supervision

Position Responsibilities – Experienced Level 3

Incorporates change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions

Applies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain

Analyzes complex material requirements

Verifies and incorporates Bills of Material/schedules into a production plan

Determines part number attributes

Initiates, coordinates and authorizes release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability

Ensures on-time delivery

Documents and resolves order delinquencies

Reports schedule adherence issues

Develops and controls inventory plans

Optimizes inventory levels

Analyzes and dispositions excess inventories

Initiates audits

Develops and creates schedules for products and services

Assists in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposals

Implements and maintains process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for materials management to improve SCM performance

Works under general direction

Eligibility and Work Conditions This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed locations. This position is for 2nd shift; however, candidates must be willing to work any shift as required. The position requires the ability to obtain a clearance for access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

More than 3 years of experience in supply chain or materials management

More than 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, shipping or customer service environment

More than 3 years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

More than 3 years of experience in Production Control and Material Management processes

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

Bachelor’s degree or higher

Associate Level 2: More than 1 year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Experienced Level 3: More than 3 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

More than 3 years of experience working with spacecraft/aircraft factory manufacturing, quality, and inventory/production control processes and tools (planning, MRP, BOMs, etc.)

More than 3 years of experience with Material Requirements Planning, including the use of Compass Contract or a similar MRP system

Typical Education/Experience Associate Level 2: Typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Experienced Level 3: Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Travel Position may require travel up to 5% of the time.

Summary pay range

Associate Level 2 : $62,050 - $76,650

Summary pay range

Experienced Level 3 : $76,500 - $94,500
