Pegasus Northwest, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team in Kent, WA. The Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for inspecting materials and products for conformance to specifications using fixed or preset measuring instruments and ensuring compliance with established tolerance levels for quality and workmanship. Base pay range
$21.00/hr - $28.00/hr Responsibilities
Inspect materials and products to ensure conformance to specifications and contract requirements. Examine company records to verify information such as size, weight, and quality test results. Perform first article inspections, process inspections, and final part inspections. Address non-conformance reports and provide backup support to the Lead Quality Inspector. Support the Quality Assurance Manager with data analysis and reporting of company metrics. Follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely completion. Ensure compliance with internal control procedures. Education and experience
High school diploma or GED; and one-year related experience and/or training. Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities. Skills and abilities
Proficient in using inspection instruments, including calipers, micrometers, height gauge, dial indicators, optical comparator, and CMM. Strong computer skills; good organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work with mathematical concepts (probability, statistics, geometry, trigonometry) and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents and reports. Ability to communicate effectively with customers, regulatory agencies, and team members. Equal opportunity employer
