GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Coatings Planner will plan the near-term coatings/fabrication schedules working directly with the area supervisor, in conjunction with available capacity as defined by the MPS. They will manage and coordinate the scheduling and production control processes to ensure customer requirements are met in line with the company's objectives and policies. The role involves interfacing and collaborating with all impacted functional areas, including sales, engineering, purchasing, shipping, and project management, to optimize product flow through production. The position is responsible for schedule adherence/off-schedule management. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIRED: Experience related to steel fabrication/industrial coatings or production planning within the steel industry. A degree in a related field is preferred; alternatively, candidates must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in steel fabrication and/or industrial coatings. Proficiency in SAP, MS Office, and blueprint reading. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills required. Seniority level
