Hendrick Motorsports, a leading NASCAR Motorsports operation, is currently searching for a Full‑Time Embraer 145 Captain at the KJQF airport. The ideal candidate will be a team player who seeks excellence in every aspect of performance and possesses extensive knowledge of pilot and flight operations, FAA regulations, operations specifications, aircraft flight manuals, and other technical data appropriate to aircraft operations. The position requires strong communication, a flexible work schedule, the ability to travel, and a professional demeanor that reflects our company’s values.

Essential Responsibilities/Duties

Safe operation of the ERJ‑145 aircraft.

Conduct flights in a safe and prudent manner in accordance with the following:

Review the maintenance status of the aircraft.

Perform a proper pre‑flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.

Check weather and facilities along the flight route and at airports, including alternate airports.

Ensure flight compliance with Hendrick Motorsports Aviation policies and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.

Ensure the safety of all passengers, aircraft, and crew.

Accurately complete all trip paperwork in accordance with current procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

3500 total flight hours

PIC: 1500 hours

MEL: 1500 hours

MEL PIC: 500 hours

Time in Turbo Jet: 500 hours

Instrument: 250 hours

5 years of aviation experience

Specific Qualifications / Certifications

Type rating on ERJ‑145/Legacy aircraft desired.

Airline Transport Pilot Certificate required.

Part 121/125 Corporate Flight Experience preferred.

First‑class medical required.

Ability to work on an on‑call basis.

Completion of ICAO International procedures training annually.

Primary residence within a 1‑hour drive of Concord, NC, or willingness to relocate.
