Program Manager – Substance Use Disorder
Hegira Health, Inc. (HHI) is a recognized leader in community-based behavioral healthcare and a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) serving persons of all ages in the western and downriver regions of Southeast Michigan. HHI has been providing a wide variety of mental health and substance use disorder treatment services since 1971.
Oakdale Recovery Center (ORC)
provides withdrawal management and short-term residential treatment services to adults with substance use disorders, many of whom also have co-occurring mental health disorders.
Requirements
A Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, social work, counseling, or another related human services field
Michigan social work or counseling license issued by LARA (Required)
CAADC or CADC certificate, or development plan through MCBAP (Preferred)
Five years of experience in the behavioral health field
Three years of supervisory experience in a SUD setting
Experience with personnel and facility management, data, risk‑management, program development, quality improvement initiatives, and evidence‑based practices
Responsibilities (summary) Clinical Management
Provide clinical and operational oversight of Oakdale Recovery Center
Recommend clinical content of program
Oversee implementation of clinical quality of care
Ensure program and delivery of services meet payer expectations
Ensure an efficient, effective workflow and structured schedule that meets all clinical, quality, and financial goals
Facility Management
Serve as liaison to landlord, HHI Purchasing, and food/meal vendor
Monitor and ensure safety of facilities within and outside the Oakdale building
Fiscal Management
Participate in annual budgetary process
Ensure adherence to FY budget by monitoring expenditures to maintain budget limits
Lead and/or assist with RFPs, grant applications, securing additional sources of funding, etc.
Monitor and ensure daily census meets or exceeds budget goals
Ongoing
Regular meeting attendance, including payer/provider meetings and HHI quality management meetings
Coordinate and facilitate payer audits
Develop, submit, and monitor outcomes of corrective action plans as required
Serve as liaison to IT between ORC, IT, and Administration
Make training recommendations in keeping with payer expectations and new programming plans/opportunities
Coordinate with Quality Department on changes to ORC policy and procedures
