We’re looking for a
Commodity Buyer / Purchasing Specialist
who thrives in a fast‑paced, hands‑on manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building supplier relationships, driving cost reductions, and collaborating across teams to support global operations.
You’ll be a key contributor to our
supply‑chain strategy , working closely with Design, Quoting, Launch, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment and excellence across all divisions.
What You’ll Do
Develop and execute global commodity strategies that support operational goals
Compile requests for quotes, negotiate pricing, and award contracts
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
Collaborate with regional and global teams to ensure alignment
Analyze commodity markets and financial data to drive strategic decisions
Meet annual cost‑reduction goals and support continuous improvement
Ensure compliance with purchasing strategy and cross‑functional objectives
What You Bring You’re detail‑oriented, collaborative, and driven to improve systems. You enjoy solving problems, influencing outcomes, and working across departments to make a measurable impact.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience
1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in purchasing or supply chain
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Task‑and‑goal‑oriented mindset with strong organizational skills
Logical problem‑solver with a passion for improving systems
Must be a U.S. citizen or green card holder
Preferred Traits
Experience with electronics buying
Experience in customer and/or supplier communication
Interest in global sourcing and strategic procurement
