Location: 6 Northway Lane, Latham, NY 12110-4809 Job Title: Quality Leader Duration: 6 Months (Could go beyond) Work Hours: Monday through Friday 7am – 4pm (1 hour unpaid lunch) Daily Duties: All aspects of Manufacturing Quality including but not limited to Machining Process Capability, Infancy failures, Root Cause and Corrective Action, Change Management, Control of Nonconforming material, and Process Documentation for plant move. Provide direct supervision to quality technicians, champion defect reduction projects, ensure work scopes are up to date with existing requirements, and participate in the transfer of work to the India facility. Educational Requirements: 2-year degree, 4-year degree preferred in quality, engineering, or a related technical field. At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing industry in a quality function. Proficiency in MS Office suite; knowledge of Minitab or other statistical software is preferred. Strong attention to detail in manufacturing quality data analysis, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and Six Sigma problem-solving skills.
