Maintenance Technician III – Dallas, TX
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role focuses on maintaining production and quality by ensuring the reliable operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.
Compensation and Shift:
$37.75/hr + $1.00 Shift Differential; Night shift 7pm–7am.
What you'll do:
Follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications to troubleshoot malfunctions.
Fabricate repair parts using machine shop tools and equipment.
Test, locate, and repair problems in electrical circuits and equipment; perform electronic equipment repair and troubleshooting; replace broken or defective parts; repair electrical motors, parts, wiring, and other electrical devices.
Apply principles, methods, and equipment knowledge for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and electronic equipment.
Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance requirements.
Perform inspections of building and equipment required by regulatory agencies.
What you'll bring:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Minimum 5 years of electrical/mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Experience troubleshooting servo motors and encoders.
Ability to lift 35 pounds unassisted.
Within 3 months, you’ll:
Complete required training.
Develop relationships within the department.
Be well‑versed in maintenance strategic priorities and the importance of your role to daily operations.
Work as a positive team member who lifts others to higher levels.
