Guide and instruct team members in craftsmanship and safety standards Utilize measurement equipment and CAM software supporting CNC machines (Mills, Lathes, Grinders, EDM) Train and mentor current team members and interns Establish workflows and set priorities to meet lead times Troubleshoot equipment and report work progress to customers Review and approve blueprints and schematics for assets and projects Foster professionalism and mutual respect through leadership activities Conduct evaluations and staff assessments Implement lean manufacturing concepts to improve efficiency Maintain a commitment to quality Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical discipline and 4-10 years of supervisory experience. The role requires occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds, office activities, and hand tool operation. Located 75 miles from Indianapolis, Ford Meter Box operates a captive foundry with facilities in Indiana and Alabama. The company offers an excellent work culture and competitive compensation.
