Title : Sr. Technical Business Analyst (20-hr/week Part-time) Location : Latham, New York Duration : 24 Months Client : NY State - NYS Office of the Attorney General Job ID : SLG - 19 - 11076 Respond by : 09/12/25 5:00 PM Description : This resource serves as the systems analyst for the charities\' apps: CHAR410, CHAR500, and the charities\' dissolution. Additionally, this resource will assist with the test automation POC and the creation of test scripts. Duties : Plan and perform requirement gathering. Develop test data scenarios and analyze the results to gain insight. Validate requirements throughout the business analysis process to ensure consistency and accuracy. Review and write system documents. Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, break down into details, and summarize into general information. Assist stakeholders in creating business practices that enhance the user experience. Mandatory Requirements Experience (10+ Years) Specializes in analyzing, designing and implementing information systems. Assesses the suitability of information systems in terms of their intended outcomes and liaises with end users, software vendors and programmers in order to achieve these outcomes. Uses analysis and design techniques to solve business problems using information technology. Serves as change agent, who identifies the organizational improvements needed, designs systems to implement those changes and trains and motivates others to use the systems. Requirements This is an 100% Onsite 84 months of experience working as a Systems Analyst and creating Use Cases, running JAD Sessions, creating functional design documents, documenting as-is to be processes 84 months of experience in developing test scenarios, scripts, data, and reviewing test results for multiple applications, including registration systems 84 months of experience in relational database and writing SQL Queries 72 months of experience in analyzing and interpreting data using Power BI, Excel, SQl, Python 72 months of experience in public sector law firm 72 months of experience in communicating with stakeholders Master\'s in data science/computer science/Business Administration Résumé Copy of Candidate Identification (i.e., Driver’s License/Green Card/Visa and Passport if applicable) Any documents referenced in the above Requested Qualifications (i.e., professional certifications, degrees, etc.) Seniority level : Associate Employment type : Contract Job function : Business Development and Sales Industries : Software Development
