Provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices, guiding customer‑centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business. Serve as the front-line manager for leadership and development of associates, delivering an outstanding client experience and achieving all office growth objectives for the three offices. Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office associates; create and manage associate work schedules and timekeeping across all offices. Travel between offices as required. Prepare tax returns as needed, upon successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment. What you’ll bring to the team
Manage office staffing, operations, and logistics across multiple offices with support from Associate Team Leaders. Partner with the District General Manager (DGM) to create and implement office‑level growth plans and client growth targets, including developing local partnerships and managing office community involvement. Assist DGM in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office associate positions; conduct timely performance reviews and address performance concerns. Build an engaging team environment across all offices through training and coaching; lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information. Demonstrate strong decision‑making, interpersonal, and customer‑centric skills; proficient in MS Office; possess a related bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns). Your Expertise
People management experience with the ability to develop and grow associates. Proven ability to execute growth plans and foster a growth culture. Strong judgment and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Customer‑oriented mindset with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Computer proficiency in MS Office. Bachelor’s degree in a related field or high school diploma with equivalent experience. Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns). Working schedule & requirements
In-person role with a flexible part‑time schedule starting in the fall; transition to full-time January–April, including evening and weekend hours as needed. Pay and benefits
Pay range: $15.00 - $40.00 per hour. Local minimum wage laws apply. Pay decisions depend on experience, education, skills, and location. Benefits: eligible to participate in medical coverage, 401(k), Employee Stock Purchase Plan, and other programs where applicable; wellness and support programs described by HR Block.
