About The Job We have an exciting opening for a

Residential Associate . Residential Associates work as members of a direct care team serving adults with serious mental illness. Their primary responsibilities include supporting the development of life skills and therapeutic interventions, performing housekeeping and meal preparation, administering medication, and keeping accurate clinical documentation. Experience as a QMHA, DSP, Residential Assistant, Residential Counselor, Skills Trainer, or caregiver for clients with behavioral health needs is preferred.

Vocational Training Program For applicants starting as a QMHA-R, ColumbiaCare offers a Vocational Training Program to accelerate training, experiential learning, and testing preparation for certification as a QMHA-I, achievable in as little as 6 months. This program is optional.

Work Schedule Saturday through Monday 6:00pm - 6:30am, with 4 additional hours to be determined at hire (Full Time, Night).

Compensation $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

DOE/Credentials. An additional $2.50 per hour night shift differential applies from 10:00pm - 6:00am. Bilingual/multilingual candidates (Spanish/English) may receive an additional 5% language differential.

The Program The Beckett Center is a 14-bed, licensed crisis residential facility for adults experiencing a mental health crisis, offering private rooms, community areas, a large kitchen, and secured outdoor space.

Qualifications

Must be eligible for QMHA registration, meeting one of the following:

Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science or related field, or

Minimum three years of verifiable behavioral health experience, or

Equivalent combination of education and experience.

We assist with QMHA registration if not already registered. Valid Oregon driver’s license, safe driving record, and ability to pass a background check are required. The role involves physical activity, including lifting up to 40 pounds, and requires completion of crisis de-escalation and CPR trainings.
