Description Enchanted Rock’s dual‑purpose microgrids use natural gas and renewable natural gas (RNG) to drive the nation’s most dependable microgrids — all while producing significantly lower to zero carbon emissions than traditional diesel backup generators. Powered by GraniteEcosystem™, our revolutionary software system provides 24/7/365 monitoring, optimization, and forecasts to enable worry‑free, reliable power for businesses. The Enchanted Rock solution brings together patented technologies, advanced dual‑purpose microgrid designs and integrated end‑to‑end services. The Power is On and we keep it on.
Responsibilities
Lead a team of technicians performing testing and quality control of newly manufactured generators.
Assist in the development and implementation of standardized testing procedures to evaluate performance and reliability.
Coordinate with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure testing requirements and timelines are met.
Conduct and oversee load, performance, and endurance tests to ensure compliance with company quality standards.
Maintain and calibrate emissions testing equipment to ensure accurate performance data.
Record test results, track issues or defects, and provide timely reports to management.
Support production scheduling for generator testing and ensure organized yard operations.
Promote a strong safety culture and compliance with all regulations.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
At least 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production testing role, preferably within generator or electrical equipment environments.
1–2 years of team lead or supervisory experience in a fast‑paced setting.
Strong technical knowledge of generators, including testing procedures and performance standards.
Proficiency with testing tools and software applications related to electrical or mechanical testing.
Solid organizational and communication skills with the ability to coordinate across departments.
Detail‑oriented mindset and strong analytical skills to identify and resolve issues in the testing process.
Proven commitment to safety and adherence to quality procedures.
High integrity and reliability when working independently or within a team.
Physical ability to be on your feet for extended periods and safely lift up to 50 lbs.
