About the Role
TYC Americas is growing in
Wixom, Michigan
with our new
Mobility Development Center
— our first U.S. development and manufacturing hub, focused on delivering
state-of-the-art lighting and mobility technologies . We are seeking a
Jr. Program Manager
to support and lead customer programs while learning program management best practices. This is a
great opportunity for engineers or technical professionals looking to transition into Program Management
and gain direct experience managing new product launches. You’ll be central to our success as we expand with exciting new OEM projects, guiding cross-functional teams and ensuring commitments are delivered on time, on budget, and with excellence. What You’ll Do
Deliver Programs:
Support timing, budget, and customer satisfaction KPIs. Lead Teams:
Coordinate cross-functional groups to meet program goals and milestones. Customer Partnership:
Build and maintain strong OEM relationships. Communicate Clearly:
Provide updates to management (escalations, gate reviews, scope changes). Improve Processes:
Champion standardization and continuous improvement. Manage Risks & Opportunities:
Identify issues early and assist with action plans. What We’re Looking For
3–7 years maximum
of experience in
automotive, product engineering, or similar technical field . No prior Program Management experience required
– we will train and mentor. BS in Engineering or related technical discipline
(or equivalent industry experience). Familiarity with automotive product development processes (IATF 16949, APQP, GD&T, FMEA, 8D, SPC, poke yoke, control plans, etc.) preferred. Basic understanding of business cases and financial KPIs is a plus. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Bonus: Exposure to manufacturing launch activities.
